Does anyone know what type of optointeruptor this is?
If not the precise manufacturer and component then a similar one so that I can figure out what all the leads are for and at least some rough characteristics.
There were some other simpler photointerruptors with 4 leads, much wider gaps and similar ones were easy to find on the web.
It is from a printer and a disk of thin plastic with very fine dark lines along the edge rotates between the phototransistor and the LED
On the back is A15 6445.
It has 6 leads, 2 on the LED side and 4 on the phototransistor side.
