Hi,
I tried to fix this Dell 240W PSU by changing the switcher IC TNY280PN, the PSU worked but can't complete windows boot process. When the boot sequence reaches logging into windows, the system shuts off and start booting again.
Could it be the switcher gets hot and shuts off ? which is the main cause of the previous switcher to fail. So I guess there's something else causing the switcher to be hot.
