Hello folks,

I can successfully synthesize my design using Leo Spectrum v2001_1d within Xilinx ISE 6 but when I fire up "RTL schematic" Leonardo GUI opens up with error "Failed to create empty document" and crashes.

Please help with this issue. In past this process has worked fine but I can't think fo what might have changed between now and then.

it is a problem with the license maybe..ask mentor support for some help...

check out the environmental variables if you are using windows, also make sure that you are referring to the right directory and that the directory path doesn't contain any unvalid directory names for UNIX system "although you are working in windows"

The problem is related to licensing I am sure. However, all the environmental variables are set properly and point to the required direction.

During synthesis I do get couple of warnings regarding "invalid entry in the license file" but the project nonthelesss does synthesize. The problem only arises at RTL schematic level.

The fix is posted on mentor's site, it has to do with creating empty catalog. I registered on the site but I can't access the documents. I am just a guess user for them.
