Hi guys,

I have a ultrasonic transducer which consist of 2 parts - a transmitter and a receiver.

I need to place the the transmitter and receiver at different places.

My receiver must be able to transmit the measured distance wireless-ly to a PDA.

I am confused about:

Whether I need to use micro controller boards for both the transmitter and receiver, or I just need it for the transmitter itself?

And can I know briefly how am I going to configure the receiver to transmit data wireless-ly?

Thank you for your patience.

Sorry, but what are you going to do with ultrasonic? if you want to transceive the data, maybe you could use RF or IR to connect between transmitter and receiver, not ultrasonic transducer. I use ultrasonic transducer for proximity sensor.
