high speed comparator

I need a high speed comparator that will be driven by a Current output DAC that will transform sine wave to square wave output.

I will use this for DDS based clock generator.

Any suggested chips that will do this job?

thanks

ultra high speed comparator

how high? tell the specification

ultra high speed dac

And what technology?

gigahertz comparator

Most DDS have this high speed comparator built inside the chip, but the one that i will use has no buitl in comparator, that why i need an external one.

a.) Differential input with diffrential voltage of 1V pk-pk.( max)

b.) Can switch 0 to 500MHz.

c.) VCC= 3.3V up

d.) VEE=-5Vmax

e.) Vout = LVTTL/LVCMOS , (this will be the clock input of the FPGA)

dds to square wave comparator

GaAs process needed

ultra high speed comperator

ADCMP551, ADCMP552, ADCMP553 are high speed PECL comparator.

you can use them if logic level are PECL, if you use

TTL/CMOS logic level, you can use AD8561, AD8564.

best regards

GaAs? I dont think so. The frequency is just 500MHz
