Some time ago, a thread of a device on a display from Nokia appeared. This time Siemens cx70, c65 will be shown.
Preliminary information:
The device was designed to test Siemens displays and to use it in other devices.
It based on Atmega32L-8AU with Siemens cx70 display (with LS020B8UD06 driver). It uses a power supply of 12V tensity.
The board was designed in Eagle 5.10 and the program in Bascom.
Schema:
Functions working with the LCD display are in the program. There is a library to work with this LCD (search in the attachment of the original thread).
The PCB is designed to be the same size as the LCD.
To compensate the levels of tensions of the display and Atmega, a resistor divider was used.
All the device work pretty good, but it is recommended to change the 5V stabilizer from the SO8 housing to D-Pack. It is conditional on that the D-Pack can get 500mA of load and the SO8 only 100mA and in continuous work it's getting hot.
