Hi All,
I'm interested in trying to override the Rugby clock time transmission over a very small range (approx. 10 metres). Anyone know if this is possible at all, or has anyone actually experimented with this signal.
The actual digital part of the signal is no problem, but the RF/Antenna part of the transmitter is stumping me due to it being such a low frequency carrier.
Any advice appreciated.

Thanks
Ron.

You are in the near field at 10 m and an ordinary LC tuned circuit will work with the inductor having a large diameter. Try an experiment with a signal generator. See if connecting it to different antenna types you experiment with keeps a receiver clock from locking on. You may have to remove the batteries and replace them to make the clock try to reacquire.
