Hi,

I´m working on an ARM based embedded system running a Ubuntu distro.
In order to keep performance, due this board is intended to work remotelly, there is no need to allow uC keep HDMI processing.

What I´m planing is work on 2 modes : Operating and Support.
On operating mode, video output would be disabled to avoid waste core processing, and on support mode, would be anabled.

Are there some way to turn-off HDMI features by remote Linux kernel remote command ( i.e.: connecting by SSH ) ?
I´m not talking about to run Linux Kernel, due several drivers belong to Ubuntu.

( note : The core is an ARM Cortex-A8 - Allwiner )
