UBoot and BIOS - can BIOS be written using bootloader.

bios u-boot

hi all,
I have some doubts regarding Uboot and BIOS.
Whether Uboot or any boot loader code is same as bios. or BIOS is something different.
or in other way, whether BIOS can be wriiten using bootloader....
In short I'm confussed with functioning of both....UBoot and BIOS.

somebody said that BIOS is part of UBOOT code...is itlike this...?:?::?::?:

please help me out..........
