Hi all,

Anyone know what is the physical layer standard for UART?
example: for CAN, ISO 11898
Thanks.

there is no physical standard for a UART. UARTs are used by many different protocols. Are you asking what is the physical standard for CAN?

Nope. I am looking for the UART.
From my understanding, UART is a protocol. And I am looking for its physical standard like the rise/fall time required, voltage level and etc.

Nope.

As I said, there is NO 'physical standard' for a UART. You can use a UART with RS-232 or RS-422, for example, and they have totally different electrical requirements.
