type of output class

I was said some opamp used class AB buffer type.

or some audio amplifier used class D buffer.

I want to know what is the class A, AB, D and etc. but I didn't see anything that was related with it in the razavi textbook.

what is the difference class A and class AB, D and etc ?

How many type buffer are used in today?

and what is the strength and weakness about each buffer class type?

How can I know them in detail? (Is there any reference or technical paper?)

thanks.
