Hi

I am looking for resources to learn how to use HSpice. Are there something like a web tutorial available? What would you recommend is the best way to learn this program so I can start designing and simulating simple amplifiers?

Thanks for any help.

Re: Learning HSpice

If you have access to cadence IC5 tool, start there. everything is gui driven. you setup your netlist using schematic capture tools and specify all your source and loads graphically. Then you dump a spice netlist from this gui and run spice simulations. I thin its the best way to get to know spice

Also, you may download some Hspice datasheet from internet for your reference.

Re: Learning HSpice

Learn it by design a project, such as an opamp. Just do it, you will find many problems, such as how to know amplifier's Gain, fu, and the solutions to the problem will help you learn Hspice effectively. Good luck!

You can download the manual of HSPICE.It is very useful. You can find it by google.

Re: Learning HSpice

Thank you very much for the replies and suggestions.

I have one more question.
Is there an educational or evaluation version of Hspice or Cadence tool that I may download and try on a windows platform?
