Hi

I wish to use DWT for de-noising 1-D data. I have tried with fewer wavelet basis. I have clear picture of the wavelet signature to be extracted from the noisy data. I have used db5 wavelet to extract it, Since filter kernel of db5 is some what correlating with the signature to be extracted. But it is not having higher degree of correlation.

Also I found that using lifting scheme , wavelet basis can be tuned . With that it mind I wish to tune db5 with the signature

Can any one help me , how to do this

Kind Regards

Faisal
