In my project i want to use tsob with pic16f877a.my project is home applaiances control by ir remote.......i want to how tsop interface with pic16f877a........and how the data will be processed.......anybody knows plz help me....

i think u use TSOP (like 1738) to the micro controller interrupt pin and also which remote use and which protocol (RC5/6 , SONY SIRC etc) have to implement in the micro !!

for example we press one button in remote,how to decode which button is pressed by microcontroller?
