I tried to install mixed signal TSMC design kit on both platforms, i.e. RedHat 8 and Solaris 5.7.
The installation runs smoothly on both where I did the following:
1) untar cmosp35.tar.gz file that I downloaded from MOSIS
2) ln the folder into my running directory
I could run it perfectly, at least the front-end for Redhat 8. However, when I did it in Unix it either stalled when I linked it or if I do not link the bindkey it will netlist "mos2" instead of "nch" as what I obtained from Redhat platform when we instant for example an nmos.
Does anyone experience this difficulty before?
If so, how do you go about this painful experience.
I have been struggling with this set up for the past 2 weeks.
