can we used the same circuit of NE555 circuits for TS555 ?

hi,
The TS555 CMOS versions have lower source/sink current specifications than the NE555 TTL versions.
What is the application.?
E

As there is no other major devices connected along with the timer IC you can go for it. Don't want to worry about the source and sink currents at this particular application.

hi,
Look at this clip from the TS555 datasheet, it shows that the TS version cannot supply the ~80mA Base current for the TIP31 for an Ic = 2Amps.

I am using IRF3205, so i have to use two levels isnt it? a mosfet below 80mA which inturn switch powerfull mosfet?

hi V,
Driving the IRF320S requires a voltage drive with a small current, so the TS555 should work OK.
I would suggest a 1K series resistor from pin #3, Output to the MOSFET gate, just in case you have a FET failure, it should prevent damaging the TS555.

In some schematics i have seen zener diode and resistor across mosfet, in addition to your suggestion of 1K from pin3
