Trying to find TAG 8602

Trying to find what a TAG 8602 is. It is a TO220 style 3 pin package from a low volt model drill speed contoller. Completely O/C, so cannot measure it. My guess is a adj vreg or transistor. Anyone know this one, cant find it with search engine. Grateful for any assistance.
