Hello

I have circuit cards that is not functional, I would like to troubleshoot and understand root cause, like which circuity or IC chip is causing the failure.
the circuit card consist of XLINX, DSP, FPGA IC's,

Any advise or software that can help me to start with? other than JTAG,

Voltmeter. Oscilloscope. Logic analyzer. No software is going to be able to identify a hardware problem, particularly if you don't want to use JTAG.

If you wish to use software, then you need to tell what root cause is ?

very old post. i hope the issue was solved.
But, if you need any help, u need to give more details.
"Circuit not functional" - has so many possibilities , which circuit, purpose, in what way not functional, how you found the circuit is not functional etc
