Trimmer of floor light buzzes in intermidiate positions

Hi,
I have a floor light with a trimmer control. In intermidiate positions a buzz is comming from the control circuit. It seems it comes from the coil or an adjust component.
How I can minimize or eliminate the buzz? Which component I have to change and what are its specifications?
