Triangulation concept

hello every one,me RAMZAN TARIQ i m doing telecom engineering my final year project is gps based vehicle tracking,i have problem in triangulation, gps receiver calculate satellite position through triangulation but i dont know hows this calculation made plz help me

It is method of finding location by using known location...
I think u have equation for finding location and u want to know only what is triangulation.

i think it is not triangulation it is the Trilateration (no angle required) through which gps reciever calculate its exact location.
