chipcon cc1000

Hi,

I'm designning now a prototype with ChipCon CC1000, but I know there is a TRF6900 from TI. Do you have experience with these components? Which of them should you choice? Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

Hi
I know the chipcon CC1000, it is a good radio transceiver. Very easy to have a good result. It is very important to have a good layout and to follow the recommandations of chipcon concerning the decoupling capacitor. With an external LNA you can obtain -115dBm of sensitivity at 868MHz , manchester coding and 2.4Khz data rate. The consumption is very good and the price is very good for good qunatity. The chipcon guys are very good. Concerning the TRF9600 i never use it, but my friend prefer CC1000.
