This device was designed as a gift.
Electronic construction was based on microcontroller Atmega16. ULN 2803 and RGB diodes. Each of eight LEDs is separately cotrolled. For a complete palette of colours, LEDs intensity is changed by PWM.
Constructions were done of silver-plated wire, cables were taken from an old transformer. The leaves of the tree are made of a real amber from another tree of happiness. The biggest problem was choosing the appropriate ball which distracted the light of diode. Different balls either from ping-pong or from various cosmetics were not very aesthetic, they look nice only in the dark. The solution came by accident, it was a tube with transparent silicone.
The effect are quite naturally looking fruit. The tree lights with nice and a bit hypnotizing colours and is used as a night lamp in the room.

You can see operation of PWM in the video, however, the eye does not capture flicker.
A change of speed is available by pressing a button on the side of the housing.
