Transmitter for various „quest for treasure” games is presented.
The purpose of the device is to play a melody on relevant frequency in the range of several meters.
Transmitter is:
- unattended,
- resistant to atmospheric conditions,
- cheap,
- acceptable size,
- solar energy powered.
Case is taken from commonly used and cheap solar lamps. After removing battery charge electronics and LED a solar battery and NiCD battery will be left. Solar battery charges the battery via rectifying diode, which prevents discharging via solar panel during night.
FM transmiter is butli on single transistor. Transmitter schematics is included. Transmitter is based on EdW monthly. Instead of microphone there is music chip taken from playing greeting card connected.
Working frequency is adjusted due to expanding the coil. Frequency range is 88-95 MHz.
Dimensions are: diameter 5,5 cm; thickness 4 cm. Device is faced with the wax from candle.
Transmitter range is several meters in an open area. Solar energy, even in the winter, is enough due to negligible power consumption.
