Hi!

What I need to transmit and receive the RS422 signals through the ethernet network? Exist one specific IC?

Thanks!

Hi,

The RS422 and Ethernet (I assume this is 10/100Mbps) interfaces are completely different from the physical electrical characteristics. Are u looking to do a physical media translation between these two interface types? If so, you may be able to build a discrete circuit with an RS422 on one end and a simple PLD in between with the Ethernet PHY on the other end.

Cheers,
snowfall
