Transisent Analysis, DC Sweep, AC Sweep?

ac sweep

Hi, I have tired to find online what these terms mean. Alot of infomation of these can be found, but no defination was avaliable. Anyone can help?

ads ac sweep frequency response

Transient Analysis has "time" as its indepedent axis (x-axis).
DC Sweep has whatever you want to sweep as the independent axis.
AC Sweep has "frequency" as the x-axis, showing the frequency response of your output.

Transient analysis: Computation of voltages and currents of a circuit as a function of time t - starting at t=0 (including all transients) - based on an arbitrary input value (voltage or current) and on certain starting conditions (bias point).

DC analysis: Computation of voltages and currents as a function of (a) a variable dc voltage, or (b) a variable dc current, or (c) a variable parts value (example: resistor), or (d) a variable parameter (example: current gain of a transistor)

ac analysis: Computation of voltages and currents within a circuit as a function of a voltage or current with constant amplitude but with variable frequency within a specified range - based on certain starting conditions (bias point).
This analysis corresponds to the classical small signal ac analysis very often used by handheld calculations (example: Xc=1/ωC)

Added later: I doubt if "handheld calculations" is the correct wording; probably is "calculation with pencil and paper" much more better. However, engineers have a lot of fantasy and will understand it, don´t they ?
