Hi Guys

I want some help, I want to design a high voltage transformer which will step up 220V to 6kV, if there is anyone can help please help me.

Do you actually need to design one yourself? If you just need to use such a transformer, you could probably just use an old neon sign transformer (NST).

Hello

I suggest you to take out flyback transformer from old television....but as it is working on 15625Hz frequency you must be switch its supply using IGBT or MOSFET even though it is cost effective solution from such circuit you can generate about 15Kv easily.......

I notice you haven't mentioned the power level - any transformer maker could make you one of these for 50/60Hz type transformers.

To design you use the same equations as for any transformer Bpk = Erms / (4.44 x f x N x Ae)

Where Bpk = 1.2Tesla say for a typical transformer design, f = 50 or 60Hz, Ae = core area in m^2, Erms = 6000 in your case for the secondary.
