I am a Qucs user. I came across a parameter called "transfer function scaling factor" in all the digital devices. What is the meaning of it?
I noticed that it should be within 10 if i want to work with digital inputs of 1V. Otherwise the output will be attenuated(For example if I'm using a mutiplexer, and the output is high, the voltage value will be less than 1 V ) If I want to use inputs of a higher voltage, I have to increase that scaling factor. Can anyone help me to understand what the link is?
