Hey, I am trying to install a CCTV system for a friend. He has a powercable through the ground to about 60m away. From that point the whole rear of his house [many nooks & cranny's] can be overlooked with a single IR-cam.
Now we don't want to dig up his garden and he needs the cable to power his garden lights as well. I use 'powerline' adapters to link the DVR [recorder and central procesing for the CCTV system] to the modem/router. It would be great if the analog singal could be digitised with a simple unit, transmitted through the powerline adapter and decoded on the other end back to analog coax again . Does anyone has a clue how to do this and if it is an existing device :-D
