Transciever with wide operating frequency

Is there any transceiver available in the market whose frequency can be varied depending upon the application.....pls tell me the name of the chip.

You tell your maximum distance that module want to communicate??

I want to cover only small area like upto 100 meters i.e my sensor node will communicate with each node depending on the distance between the nodes...
also based on the distance transceiver will change the frequency ...
thats why i want wide operating frequency in transciever....
