Hi,
We now find the TPS54070 and TPS54040 and TPS5401 looks pin-4-pin compatible.
Do you know what are the exact differences between TPS5401 and TPS54070 and TPS5401?
(Other than the EN pin hysteresis, volt ref tolerance, and shutdown current, which we are aware of)
This provides a good initial overview/comparison for more information, you have to have a close look in the datasheet. Especially if you have chosen your initial IC for some specific reasions, which we do not know.
From the table you can see, only the TPS5401 includes an over current protection. Further, theTPS57040-Q1 is available as an automotive rated IC only (indicated by the Q1), which usually comes with a higher unit price.
