is that correct
 

There is no connection between the left part of R6 and the source, so you can't make a circuit via R6. Therefore the current through R6 is zero and you can remove R6, 7 and 8 from the circuit.

So the 2V source sees 9 Ohms and Vx = 2*4/(4+5).
