chargepump

There is warning of bulk current too much which caused by pn junctions forward biased of mos transistor. what this warning will result in for my circuit?
is it neglectable ?
if this warning can not be removed , Can I release my design for tapeout ?
Thanks.

Re: chargepump

I think you may want to:
1. see where the bulk current arise from
2. eliminate it

Bulk current kill your efficiency, and could potentially cause latch-up. You do not want that.

Check is it because of p+ being bootstrapped above nwell, in which case u may want to do well-switching.

Yes, the reason is the pn junction forward biased

Bulk current kill your efficiency, and could potentially cause latch-up. You do not want that.

if this warning happened only at start up of chargepump, it has little influence to efficiceny; but could cause latch-up.

Re: chargepump

i think it is very dangerous for the ic design.
If the diode for isolation is forward , there will be latch up and whole chip is leakage. As a result , the chip is failed.
