TO FTDI MASTERS HOW TO DO THIS (HELP)

I am using ftdi FT245R usb fifo Is it psossible

Usb gets power from Host And rest of circuit gets


power from external power supply. As i would not Reprogram eprom chip


to enable external power for usb.Please tell me how it


can be done.
 

You can download MProg from FTDI to program the eprom and set the power requirements of the circuit.
If you dont want to reprogram the eprom, then you will have to live with the 100mA max supply from the usb.
