hi all

just was wondering how to design a receiver circuit using pin diode and transmission circuit using led?...any one with the circuit diagram?

Re: to design receiver n transmission circuit usin pin &

well ofcourse you can design that...but there are some problems associated witht this crude type of reciever system.
like sensitivity and range.

a simple way would be to keep the diode and led in vicinity and conntect a clock to input of led. (alongwith proper resistance values).

Then at the other side connect the output of PIN diode to a CE amplifier. which would finally drive yet another LED (or can store data in a register ).

I've tried this ...it works ...but my range was ...both of them touching each other.

But i guess you can find some more sensitive devices.
bye
