Hello all,

I have some rolling stock boards to test, all they use a TMS320C31PQA5 dsp chip from TI but they are all programmed and I can not change this firmware but need to check if these DSP are working. Can someone help me or give me some adeias?
P.S. These DSP are soldered in the board but have a "JTAG" male connector.

Regards,

Fernando - Brazil

Hello!

Wow! 1991 looks like the good old days. I checked the documentation and there doesn't seem to be
JTAG-like pins.
I'm not sure anybody here is old enough to reply.
Beside this, even if there was a JTAG, depending on the board (was it a product? an evaluation board?),
in case of a product, there are high chances the JTAG fuse is blown...

Good luck!

Dora.
