What's name has the module which assign the times slots to a VSAT in TDMA's satcom?

Because the satellite multiplex is a TDM and the comunnication of the VSAT (earth's antennas) burst the data beams in TDMA. So there must be something which assign the x times slots to a particular VSAT.

Best Regards!

The base station does the allocations. One TDMA channel is usually a slotted-Aloha channel on which the requests are sent. The allocation details are sent back via the TDM outbound.

Different manufacturers VSAT systems could have different protocols. I do no think there is any standard as yet.
