Anybody have the dimensions of the microstrip "lollipop" pattern to get me from the top of a housing, through the housing middle floor, to the bottom of a housing through a coaxial feed thru? Ku band frequency. I need the diameter of the circular part, and the width and length of the handle. thanks,
Rich

Hi, biff44,
Do you need very good VSWR, or just link it?
If you need very good VSWR, or very little insertion loss, you need use HFSS to simulate.
Otherwise, you can refer to the following file.
one my pre-colleague simulate it, it's hard to do so.

I used 2.2mm pad with via=1.3mm(RO4350B, 10mil, 1/2oz), even used to 18G, and sometimes need paste-and-try, sometimes not. I don't care VSWR.
