So I am investigating the six switch boost PFC rectifier for 3 phase applications. I have found articles comparing this topology. Does anyone have any article on the operation and control of the six switch topology?
 

You find many articles under the keywords "active front end".

It's essentially driven with an sine pwm in an unipolar ("three level") modulation scheme, similar to a three-phase DC/AC inverter. As in the inverter, a common mode voltage will be superimposed to the sine modulation to allow a lower DC link voltage.
