This is photodiode or not ?

Hi.. Everybody,
I bought some photo diode from shop.
They gave the following diodes. These are very small.
I am not sure this is photo diode. In net, photo diode are not same as my diode.
So, Please confirm me and how I know pin configuration.

It looks kind of like this one:

I found it by googling "photodiode" and then selecting "Images" from the google menu at the top of the screen, after the search results appeared.

Look in the third row, to the right side:

They look very much like the infra red photo diode you see in some mice, except they have a clear case and the infra red ones are black. I think that they are definitely photo diodes though.
