I suppose RE is the effective impedance in the emitter leg. It has a resistor and capacitor. Obviously we can't count the 2.2k ohmic resistance as the major contributor to the 36 ohm figure. However the capacitor... What do you calculate as its impedance, that is, its reactive impedance?
