i want to built a proto type electric cooler with iron and copper as thermo couple

any body worked on it .pls give me some information

just ask any thing u want i can answer it electrical coolers are new topic in electronic u can use the new cooling elements that doesnt need any water or thing
 

I tried Peltier elements :

Peltier elements draw high currents (10 + amps) ; not very efficient
The power supply heat generation can be a problem
The one side generate heat ; up to 100 deg C ; you will need a heat exchanger and a fan.
You need to thermly insulate the cold part from the hot part.

I used a commercial Peltier element ; using p and n-type elements
