Hi all,,

I would like to use thermistor as inrush current protection circuit..
The input DC voltage is 24V and maximum inrush current that had been decided is 8A.
So, I use thermistor which have R25 = 5Ohm (> 3Ohm)

I had found this thermistor,,
but how i ensure that the thermistor won't be spoil when inrush current happened?
How to calculate maximum energy that can be absorbed by the thermistor when inrush current?

You can see the parameter given by the datasheet of the thermistor below,

Thanks for advice!
