Antireflection coatings

i want to know the relation between the reflection and the wavelength.

consult the book "optics" by hecht.

Look for destructive interference, where the reflected wave is in antiphase to the incomming one. This condition happen at L/4 times the coefficient of propagation of the whatever kind of wave into the given reflective coating material, where L is the wavelength.
