who knows the Primitive polynomial of DVB-S2 BCH code?

i think it's generator polynomial in the standard. when we decode the bch coding if we need primitive polynomial?

thanks for Mathuranathan!
but i think the gf domain mul and exp should use primitive polynomial

Added after 7 minutes:

i have find the primitive polynomial. it's in the document:

Hi Yeah you are correct the primitive polynomial u can find out using matlab pp = primpoly(16,'min'); for GF(2^16) and similarly for GF(2^14) pp= primpoly(14,'min').

Actually u can use any polynomial for calculation you just need to find the root of ELP(error loc polynomial) using Chien search. But ELP needs to be presented in some sort of GF representation.
