arm7 contest

The Philips ARM Design Contest 2005 is your introduction to Philips’s powerful LPC2000 microcontroller family. These RISC MCUs are based on the high-performance 32-bit ARM7TDMI-S™ microprocessor, which features low-power consumption and 16-bit Thumb code for efficient and flexible designs. Other key features include a wide range of serial communications interfaces, on-chip 8/16/32-KB SRAM, 32-bit timers, single or dual 10-bit eight-channel ADCs, a 10-bit DAC, PWM channels, and 47 GPIO lines. These features coupled with a small footprint make the LPC2131/2132/2134/2136/2138 microcontrollers ideally suited for countless applications, such as access control, point of sale, communication gateways, voice recognition, industrial control, and medical systems.

Free evaluation kit is available:

The MCB213x-U Evaluation Kit features the Keil MCB2130 Evaluation Board populated with the new LPC2138. The MCB2130 evaluation board introduces you to the newest Philips LPC213x ARM7-based family and allows you to create and test working programs for this advanced architecture. Included on the evaluation board are two serial ports, eight LEDs, and a speaker. The evaluation board allows you to experiment with ARM applications and the Philips LPC2130 devices. An evaluation copy of the Keil ARM development tools is included in the MCB213x-U Evaluation Kit.

What can you expect? The thread got 90 views in less than 24 hours from posting, just make it 80% of those who viewed requested, and requested 2 kits each. Automatically, it will get out of stock.

This is a problem...because 2 kits for each person?

Gorkin.

can some one share that extra board?????????
hock

just a conscience message if you are interested in the kit order for use not for resale that it unethical

Philips has published schematic and documentation for
"Keil Software MCB2130 evaluation board". It is available here: **broken link removed**

Nice! I wouldn't mind owning one of these... If anyone is going to get one of these PCBs cut and stuffed, msg me, I wouldn't mind splitting the cost with you (if reasonable and good quality).

I received e-mail from Contest Administrator Philips LPC213x Design Contest

Thank you for participating in the Philips LPC213x Design Contest. We received your sample request but the surprising popularity of the contest and lure of the LPC213x Evaluation Kit offer quickly oversubscribed the available supply. Unfortunately, we regret that we are unable to fill your request for a free Keil Software MCB2130 Evaluation kit for the contest.

:( :( :(

I sent mail to cc and they replied with same content but added that you can order chip instead of SDK ...

Proteus V6.8 (currently in Beta) contains new models for the ARM7/LPC2000.
Specifically, LPC2104, LPC2105, LPC2106, LPC2114, LPC2124 and the ARM7TDMI and ARM7TDMI-S core models

Compiler support generic with anything producing ELF/DWARF2 debug format. Developed and tested alongside KARM (Keil), GNU ARM compiler (GCCARM V3.3.1) and IAR's ARM Compiler (EWARM).

Release proper anticipated in a couple of weeks.

This contest is about LPC213x family, so we can't get with new Proteus exact functional model.

I am still waiting for the board. Did anyone get it?

I have tracking number of FedEx and wait for shipment next week.
:)

I have an extra board, if my friend cortex will not get it from me, I will just sell it here.

PM me for your offer, if you get no reply, I am not interested in the offer.
