Excuse me, I am now studying the sensors such as gyro and accelerometer. I am very disappointed with the Euler angles and quanternion method used in unmanned aerial vehicle. So, if you are kind to me, give me advice with the matter.

Re: Navigation Sensors

Disappointed with eulers and quaternions? that is surely a typo?

Anywayz; as you probably know, quaternions are also referred to as hypercomplex numbers.. The theory is based on the extensions of complex numbers. They are very difficult to explain or understand, but very easy and computing efficient to use, so many people make euler angles initially, as they are easier to understand, converts to quaternions, performs whatever rotations desired, and converts back to euler angles.. I didn't quite get what you were asking, but I hope that clarifies it.
