The difference between TTL, CMOS and ECL logic levels

Can any body expalin the difference between TTL, CMOS and ECL logic levels....
any suggested link for tutorials......
how i can convert one logic level to another....e.g TTL to CMOS

read the input output voltage section of the datasheets of:

74LS08 & CD4081....u`ll see the difference of voltages in both of there chips....first one is the TTL and second is CMOS based....
