the block E in Pspice

The E-block is one of the four controlled source available in Spice since the first releases. They are:

E -----> Voltage controlled voltage source
F -----> Current controlled current source
G -----> Current controlled voltage source
H -----> Voltage controlled current source

The output voltage (or current) is generated by means of a user-defined polynomial function of the control voltage (or current)

1. if u know that i/p of this Eblock is a digital cct to control the switch pattern of this mosfet; what is the need of E block then?...cant we connect the digital cct through buffer directly to the mosfet.

2. where is the right place to apply modulation on this switch?...is it the enable labeled E ?...

refer to my picture attached at first post.
thanks

There are not enough information to answer your questions. Could you, please, open the E block and report what is written in the variuos fields (you should see, in one of the fields, something like POLY(2) 3 0 1 0 0 1 ...).
