inductor test

I planning to make a switching voltage regulator, it's operation freq. is 100Khz.
when testing inductor using LC meter, if I find the inductor work good at 500Khz will it also work good at 100KHz?

I hope someone can give me more info about it

Re: inductor test

If an inductor @500kHz passes “test” @500kHz it will also pass the same “test” @100kHz, but not the other way around ..
It should show the same inductance, but may have different Q ..
