Hello All,

Although few were the previous post related to this topic, yet i could not understand how to test using benchmark circuits. Please give me some idea or links in relation with the same.

Currently i am testing using very simpe circuits like cmos inverter, nand gate etc. I have no idea how to use benchmark circuits.

Currently, I am using ngspice for simulating my circuits. Is it possible to test benchmark circuits in ngspice?

Benchmark tests are always based on Design Specs. So define them first.
Typical tests are Vth tolerance, Ciss, RdsOn, Ring Oscillator speed test. RdsOn or ESR is the incremental dV/dI from each rail. typical HC ESR is 300 Ohms, LVTTL is 50 Ohms ALV is 25 Ohms.
